About this "He's from Ontario" argument for Perry and x,y,z players. About 30% of the league is from Ontario and that never seems they never seem to give a poop. It's fools gold like it always has been, ZOMG RICK NASH IS LIKE FROM BRAMPTON HE'S A LEAF FAN! ZOMG TAVARES WILL FORCE THE ISLES TO TRADE HIM! It's the weakest argument out there, just ask les glorieux and all the wonderful French superstars flocking there.

if anything its a deterrent from playing here.. all of a sudden their parents are stopping by more.. old friends expect them to buy them stuff etc etc
mornin'.. the bruschetta turned out great.. the basil and oregano the market had were fresh that day.. so they were nice and strong.
and japanese? mmmm... not counting sushi i havent had that for quite awhile.. maybe i will try my own hand at it.. i know my gf loves it.. - Dozzer
Gota love Beef teryaki over rice and it is so fast to make. Cut the beef tenderloin thin, lay the pieces on a broiler, and slide it on the top rack of the over for like 2 minutes per side. Done. Place meat over rice in bowl and drizzel with teryaki sauce to taste.

I made some catapiller rolls to go with it. - bixll
oh I am going to remember that one. So many times I only have 45min to get ready after work for some band thing. I could get the rice steamer going, get ready, cook the beef, eat, and clean up in that time.

People still think Perry is going to sign with the leafs?
So cute.
But I really hope the leafs dont try and sign him for what will probably a 9 million asking price.

good tip... thanks! - Dozzer
Even making Sushi rice only take 25 minutes. But, Uncle Bens is ready in just 5 minutes. So, you can literally have a good fast meal in 6 or 7 minutes, from start o finish.

I feel it's pretty disingenuous of some players to claim they want to play in a market without the intense media scrutiny, i.e. markets where they don't give many poops about hockey. What they don't realize, and even worse if they do, is that markets like Toronto, Montreal, NY, Van, etc. make it possible for them to earn what they do and hope to live without attention and scrutiny. Ask a movie/music star what the territory includes...

Sounds good.
I'd make one change....do the beef on a pre heated cast iron skillet for 30 - 45 seconds each side then toss it in the oven for a 1 min or so each side.
Sear in that flavour.

yeah, we tend not to eat the 5min rice.. not because of any pompous reason, its just that we try to shop at the market as much as possible.
but i got a great lil rice steamer.. so i just put the rice in.. flavour with a bit of boullion or dried spices (whatever my fancy day to day) and its ready in 20min.
I agree totally, by the way. If the hometown thing was a real concern, The Leafs would not know what to do with all of the great players banging down the door.

Ya that would suck.. Honestly if I were an Ontario hockey player playing for the Leafs I would have a modest cottage up in haliburton highlands and donate a lot of my time and money to charities. What's that mom? You want a new car? Cool, how about you raise 30,000 for sick kids and ill buy you a car.

I would buy a lavish mansion and spend my disposable income on drugs and women.
Sounds good.

If your oven is set to broil and you let it heat up, with the rack all the way up, it is not necessary.

Nah screw that, completely understandable.
The media is pretty much just a cesspool of morons and leeches these days. It's extremely rare to find a decent beat reporter.
Why would anyone want to deal with the stupidity that spews from garbage sports media in most large markets.

I bet that would make you feel good about yourself.. Nothing wrong with beer and weed.. But screw the hard stuff. And personally I find a meaningful relationship with someone is far more rewarding than screwing sluts

Perry is better than Getz so if Getz got 8.25 or whatever, Perry has to get 9...insane...but Pitts manages it with Crosby/Malkin so Anaheim could tie up 2 players to almost 20% of the cap...though the stands are fuller in Pitts I would think...

Perry's going somewhere. Certainly hope it is to the Leafs, but I will not hold my breath.

I'd get my fill of sluts then find a girl I can have meaningful relationship with who allows me to have sluts too.
