Lol clueless - honesthockey
He disappeared for about 30 points last year which kessel was on for and lupul until he got hurt. What was he doing? Picking his ass behind reimer? Hes not a first line centerman. 2nd at best |

All of this translates into offense that isn't recorded on the stat sheet but whatever I know that the stat sheet is the only indicator understood. - honesthockey
So you are saying when David Steckel was the best faceoff man in the league that he was an offensive dynamo?
Colton Orr pumps his team up with a fight which is an intangible that leads to goals as well right? Also a gifted offensive player. |

That awkward moment, when bozak is the first line centerman, yet franson and phaneuf have 1-2 points more or close to the same. |

Because offensively, he's worthless. He's a 40 point player even with good offensive linemates in a wide open offensive system.
If Bozak wants to continue his career once his days of being a #1 center by default are over, he had better start reviewing game tape of John Madden and figure out how make it work on the 3rd line. - Two_For_Truth
It's going to be fascinating if/when Bozak hits UFA status.
It's painfully obvious that his numbers are bloated worse than that fat Flyers fan in a box, but I'll bet that some idiot GM panics and pays him $3.5 million a year.
And boy will they live to regret it.
If it was me, I'd trade him yesterday. |

Tyler "whiff" Bozak is nothing more than a 3C. He would not be a 2C on any other team.

Forget the stats.
Just watch a game when he whiffs on four two-foot putts in a row. |

If McKegg is a third liner letting him learn the NHL game on line 4 isn't a stretch. - honesthockey
He gets more ice time in the AHL and he isn't much better than the 4th liners we have at the moment. He needs development time. |

The wind off his stick puts the opposing goalie off balance which leads to goals. You clearly don't watch the game.

He was a real shut down center when he played on that 5-on-3.
Winnipeg didn't get a single offensive chance, so Bozak must have been doing something right. |

I'm starting to think that Colborne can put up way better numbers centring the first line, I honestly think what Nonis said a little while ago about seeing what some on the farm can do with the Leafs will be Colborne getting some time on the first line, just a gut feeling come trade deadline time.
I would like to see what Bozak can do as a third line checking role. |

Centers first line, guys like kadri and O'Rielly last year has/had more points then him. Plays with kessel and lupul/JVR. Fail. |

A few years ago HH and I argued for hours because he wanted Stajan to be demoted to the AHL because he sucked. I said you play him to trade him.
I don't know why HH likes Bozak, him and Stajan are one in the same. |

Agreed. I don't hate Bozak, but if he's got all these so-called defensive tools, let's see him use them.
Let's go with a real checking line. McClement-Bozak-Kulemin.
Get Kadri on the second line, buy-out Grabo, and bring in Stastny. |

Kadri on the 1st unit PP on a 5 on 3?
That's just down right insane. |

It's weird - we have no #1, yet we have too many centres.
It's the mediocrity that unites us all. |

Colborne still needs a lot of work on his skating before he can play with Kessel.
Bozak would be a very good candidate to be a strong 3rd line checking center. But he knows that's not where the money is and there aren't many teams that would spend 3.5+ million dollars on a 3rd line center unless he was the clear cut best in the world. |

Thing is, you've got to keep Kadri in check.
You can't have him just going out there and showing us his offensive potential. Better to limit his ice time - especially on the powerplay.
Sincerely,
