Liles would be your best puck moving d-man, outside of possibly JShultz...
Komi isn't terrible, his contract is... - BoBBeR56
A fellow fan of yours suggested in your thread trading Macarthur, Bozak, Liles for Berglund and Stewart and was serious.
I cant take any of you seriously atm. Just give me a few. |

Well its obvious the Oilers are not going to improve the team and jeopardize a top 3 pick, so if they sell or buy is immaterial to us. In the meantime we will be happy to discuss trades etc... like we`ve done in previous years disillusioned thinking that Lowe and company care. Besides, Seth is a couple losses away - cdjaakkola
If its immaterial to you, when are you wasting my time posting on here? Go back under the bridge downtown. |

People have always pointed to his goal totals and it flummoxes me that after all this team people STILL dont seem to realize that hes a pass first playmaker. - sanfordnson
which could make it hard to trade him to aplace like pitts. i think he could be a nice complemetn in philly.

For me Bags, Whits and Smyth can all go. Whits will be gone anyways so make sure we at least get something for him. Havent liked Belanger much his whole time here. Does what hes supposed to do but just something about him. Smyth is done and seems to think hes still a top line guy. - sanfordnson
Belanger is not at all what I hoped he would be. |

I'm starting to understand why you spend so much time in here. It must be tough cheering for a team with like five fans. That and the fact that homosexuality is frowned upon in Minnesota. - Reveen

I like how he says 'possibly' J.Scultz. Guess he hasnt watched Petry much. Liles can go (frank) his own ass he sucks. |

Are you coming on to me? I'm sorry but I don't swing that way. I think you might be able to find a suitable life partner somewhere in these threads.
If that fails laughs' sister is always available, she's what we call a "Mormon" (more man than woman).

Dotn even bother. Some of the Pens fans on here are even bigger homers than their pbp guys. Ironic considering half of them have only been following hockey since 2005.
(frank)in people around here. Hemsky would undoubtedly help a lot of teams out at forward and to these (frank)in mouth breathers suggesting hes worth a 4th or whatever give your addled heads a shake. I remember quite well our boards being trolled telling us Penner would get no more than a 4th and even Pierre Faguire said it and look what happened. Hemsky has term left....lol yeah a whole whopping year. What an albatross contract! God theres some stupid people around here. - sanfordnson
Yes to all of the above.

Gawd no. A perrenial 35ish point player has something like 16 in like 95 games as an Oiler.
I hated him in those last few awful games before the Chicago win.
Giving up on plays, gaffs.

If theres any actual attitude problems in the locker room, my money would be on Bags, Whitney and even Smyth. |

add a second with Gardiner or a decent prospect to replace RNH at centre and you have a deal - aaglass
Gtfo. He's our best player with the most upside out of them all. He's 19 and still hasn't filled out. GIVE HIM A CHANCE! |

Exactly right. People forget the cap is coming down, not going up. Hemsky is bad value, especially for a team like Pittsburgh. We don't need him. Scoring goals isn't our problem. Then again, he doesn't do that. An expensive health risk play maker isn't a need in Pittsburgh. A good solid stay at home physical defenseman and a two-way third line forward is. - Oneonta Penguin

This is the part where he'll offer back a conditional 4th for both. |

Yep...Whitney is an interesting one right now...all the talk is/ was he's out and he made that fairly clear to the media at the beginning of his press box stint but I find him to be somewhat of a galvanizing vet when he's makin the plays he has been lately...it becomes so clear how important these vets have to be for the Oilers.
If he continues to play this way and the attitude shifts I'm not totally opposed to resigning him at a bargain basement price point for defensive depth

Bishop for a 2nd and 4th? This is insulting...no deal. You say that you will give us a 2nd and laugh in our face when we meet in the finals in 2016 and you ride on Bishop? He's #1 goalie buddy...we know it and when you have him on your team, you will know it.
I don't want to trade him, but we have no choice...unless Anderson goes but then, I don't want that either. I don't want any of my goalies to go
Murray should ask a 1st for Bishop and not trade if no one is offering...reason why Bishop is not playing alot is because of is contract. We're limitating is ice time for a reason.
I would take Bishop and 6th for Pajaarvi...that is how I see Bishop. No deal? Go for M. Smith
- SENSpatriot
Insulting?
You don't want to trade him but have no choice?
You don't want any of YOUR goalies to go?
Time for a reality check. They aren't your goalies and its totally illogical for YOU to be insulted.
You are a fan and besides cheering for the team have no interest in them.

Unless he is signing for less than 2mil at 1 year you move him. We can't afford to have guys who have questionable attitudes and injury problems. |

Just depends on his attitude, which in all honesty no one knows for sure. If hes had a change of heart cool, but one wonders if hes playing hard now for his own value. Doesnt make sense though if hes a UFA. I dunno. Boobs. |
