Difference is the on ice antics that Ott does/brings. Plus the questionable runs he's taken at players. You name Ott captain, Ott has to change his game, and you dont want him doing that

That was my point about a guy like Morrow. At this point in their careers, he's the closest simiarity, but Ott's a little less "classy." Again, that's not a knock on him, it's just the role that each one plays and they way they need to play it to be effective.
Zac Rinaldo has shown the most heart on the Flyers the last 10 games or so, but I don't want him wearing the C due to the nature of his game.

I see we have the annual "who should be the captain" conversation going on right now. Call me cynical, but I don't think it matters who is a captain of this team. Mark Messier circa 1994 against the Canucks wouldn't help this team as is.

The problem is the make-up of the team - not who has a consonant on the front of his jersey.

2 years ago people were screaming to get the C on his jersey. My oh my how the tides have turned.

Couldnt be farther from the truth. If you had a leader who wouldnt let you get away the bs they try ot pull day in and day out this team wouldnt be so pittaful. The sad thing is if Ott doesnt get a letter maybe one day he stops caring and there goes the last leader

I don't get to watch a lot of Sabres games, but what about Weber? At least he stood up for a teammate last game. He won't blow you away with offensive production, but he seems like a guy I could get behind.

That's because they are led by Captain Pom Pom, the bigggest cheerleader who likes to hold everyone else's hand and sing kumbaya. God forbid he raise his voice or get in someone's face on the other team, let alone his. Pu$$y!!!!
