thinking the LA deal might be something like Enroth + for Bernier? Getting Bernier might mean that Miller would be on his way out.

im sure theres more to it though.

Overlooked, mediocre player for Leopold (or a 3rd round draft pick)

I thought about my post yesterday. This is how I would fix this team for next year. (Highly unlikely)

Trade Leo and Regher at the deadline for 2nd rd Picks (7M salary shed)

Offseason
Vanek for Yandle + Smith (100K salary increase for Buf)

Miller for Weiss + Goc (1.45M Salary shed for Buf)

Ennis, Sekera, 2nd rd pick for Ryan (450K Salary shed for Buf)

Pominville for Dubinski + a 1st (1.10M Salary Shed for Buf)

Stafford for a Pick anywhere (4.0M Salary Shed for Buf)

Buy Out Leino and Gerbe (6M Salary Shed for Buf)

20MM Salary shed to use for resignings and cap adjustment.

Draft Drouin with Buf pick 1.

Use the picks acquired at the deadline 1st this year(From Columbus) 1st next year and second(Acquired from Leo/Regher trade) (Both if needed) and a D prospect(Pysyk or JGL) to move back up in the top 3 take Seth jones

Ryan-Hodgson-Dubi
Drouin-Weiss-Foligno
Ott-Grigorenko-Goc
Flynn-Porter-Girgensons/Armia

Yandle-Myers
Ehrhoff-Seth Jones
McNabb- Weber

Mike Smith
FA BAckup

Flame Away.

Weiss is a UFA this off-season.....otherwise nice roster shakeup

Edit: that and Miller to Florida puts him in our division.

Edit: Edit: Pominville would most likely not accept a trade to Columbus.
