I hate those phone notifications

I've had a few beers and said some things that don't make sense this year. It's been frustrating. They've gotten screwed hard only made worse by how they screw themselves harder. It's just "mind bottling".

I had that for the longest time but hten it stopped working for me. I had it set up so that the sabres goal horn was the notification sound on my phone too. It was pretty sweet.

Maybe I'll have to try again.

I think most of them have cashed out for this season... a 48 game season and they are already in dead last in the NHL (game in had on Florida and they have beat us). Most of them know they got their wallets padded for a full season's work even though they are playing a half season...

Well on our team... I would say that Miller, Vanek, Hodge, and Ott... have been our best and most consistent players.... but lately...

Hodge and Ott are the only players that seem to care every night and haven't tapered off.

How much do you guys see Hodge getting on his contract after this season...?

i feel like it might be hard to judge his value....when he was a rookie he was playing like 3rd line, then he gets traded to a new team and is playing 1st/2nd line....then his 2nd season is a shortened season....so idk, but he is quickly becoming one of, if not, my favorite player

I agree with this.... at first when we got him I was not very impressed with him.. he wasn't a great skater.. he didn't have a killer instinct to him.. and he couldn't win faceoffs....

now he has literally turned all of those things around with only better defense to be desired... I think I would offer a 3-4 year deal at 3.5M per.. but definitely no more than 4M per at this point.

Granted I don't know a lot about Turris or what his stat line looks like currently but I would think Hodgson is better than Turris hands down.

Well I'm actually still gonna go to the game tomorrow. It's a pretty far drive for me and I usually only make it to a game or two a year, plus they're front row seats so I guess I won't fall asleep.

As far as the rest of the season... I want me a Mackinnon so they can lose the rest of the games this season for all I care.

So we can expect to hear the excuse of, "It's hard to gauge our true performance as a team during this shortened season. I expect our core players to come back even better next year for the full season" from Regier when he makes no moves at the deadline and during this summer. I mean these guys have run their course hockey wise and even from a marketing standpoint you can't even market Pommer, Vanek, Miller, Stafford anymore.
