Stastny is and will always be better offensively than O'Reilly. Just look at the Olympics when Stastny played in a real offensive system. He lit up the scoresheet with assists. Kepp the center depth and lets develop our young D, which apparently the management doesn't know that involves playing them over depth D-Men.

Sacco benches kids for grizzled plugger vets like himself, guess he feels they earn it more than them or some junk like that. Its logic and moves like this that really hurt our teams development.

But we do need some vetren puck moving D-Men. Thats why I think if you can get a guy like Liles back who is constatl heathied in Toronto, This will go along way in Barries and Elliots development. WHo are they suppose to learn this from? Hunwick and O'Brien?

Our biggest needs right now are offensive D-Men, and Top 6-9 Wingers. Johnson, Wilson, Barrie are the only bright spots on the back end and Landy, PA, McGinn are the only consistent wingers. Downie getting hurt really messed up our Top 9 Wingers this season. Hejduk should retire, and Mitchell needs to get back to playing centre, not productive as a winger.

Jones/Kobasew/Zanon/O'Bryne/O'Brien/Hunwick should never wear an Avs uniform again after this season/deadline day
