I knew better than to ask for anything. The only thing I ever remember asking for as a kid were books from the catalog they would send home from school. And how can a parent say no to a kid that wants to read??

Whenever I got "Grounded" I would just pester my parents until they kicked me out of the house while yelling "IF YOUR NOT HOME WHEN THE STREETLIGHTS COME ONE, YOU'RE GROUNDED"

True story.

My parents have never bought me any video game systems.

I bought an NES with my communion money.

I always was just told the world doesn't revolve around me, to which I responded: "well it should...it would be a hell of a better place".

I was a good kid. I was taught manners and stuff at a very young age. It drives me crazy to go out and see adults that can't hold a fork the right way.

My mom always asked me why I never brought that catalog home.

My response was always I needed it to throw at the bus driver.

My first video game system was an Atari that my mom bought from this little "consignment" type shop in Angola called Bob's Garage Sale.

I used to love the Berenstain Bears books when I was in like 1st grade. How scary is it that I actually remember that?
