I know you've seen a lot of Amerks games this year. I went to a few durning the lockout and porter stood out every time. He is a huge upgrade over Hecht and I think he should take his spot in the lineup.

I was really ticked that McCormick was waived until I heard porter was coming up. It does add more balance to the roster for sure.

I didn't really care one way or the other about McCormick. Porter has been good for Rochester, but I really think he's here more as moral support to Rolston than anything else. If he can help Rolston right the ship though, I'm all for it. He's been a good soldier this year.

I think Darcy is on the clock as far as his job goes for the rest of this season . Expect some guys to be moved this year; Darcy will be trying to save his job and I don't think he will let some if these sorry players sink his ship so to speak now that all eyes are off of ruff and squarely on him.

its just different. nashville doesnt really have a fan base so the organization can opperate on a strictly business approach. in buffalo we we're promised by our owner that the sole purpose of the organiztion was to win the cup. spending money = appearnce that the organization is doing everything to win the cup. appearances is everything.

if teams spend a bunch of money on players and dont perform then they are considered busts or overpaid, etc.......and people will use them as their excuse

Darcy has to know he is under the microscope now. By firing Lindy this marks the end of the an era and his job is no longer secure. If the team doesn't complete a U-turn fast, he's next to be packing it up.
