The team was largely that way last year.I dont question the move I question the unprofessional way it was handled.
- buffalo 1

I was at the majoirty of home games last year and it was never like last night or other games this year.

THE FANS HATE THIS TEAM! Ruff new it and so did management. His time was up.

I'm just so curious what a different GM could do with Terry's deep pockets.
- Pierceme69

deep pockets doesnt mean a thing unless you overpay to get a player, and have to fill out the roster under the cap, deep pockets doesnt mean or bring success

Rolston your best pick to replace Lindy ? Really all this for an unknown minor league coach ? Not Impressed

Toe Blake must have turned them down.....

Why have someone take over that was working for a guy who wasn't getting the job done?

I like the move to have Rolston take over. He had a good rapport with young players and really took Foligno up to the next level.

yep, I have no problem with Roltson...plus the other two dont have any head coaching experience at any level as far as I know.

No offense, but were you in the room when they did it? Because if you weren't, you have no idea how it was actually handled.

I don't think either side was happy. But continuing a sham is more disrespectful IMO.

the team IMO was largely that way since briere and drury walked

w/o an elite first half of one season and a few hot streaks from miller the next year, this team could have been on the verge of 6 straight non playoff seasons

are you all in after the lockout or did hockey lose a part of you?
- homiedclown

As much as the lockout irritated me, hockey is a part of who I am.

He's an interim coach. They fired him today. Did you think they would have a new coach lined up at the drop of a dime?
- Pierceme69

I think Terry P has been behind in his decissions about coaching since day 1. IMO He should of been interviewing replacements since last season.

I would have liked an assistant gm to have been brought in the summer after he bought the team

I think if Terry P is making all of the decisions then we have bigger problems than the hurt feelings from firing the coach.

I think this at least made the next few weeks interesting. I like the work that Rolston has done in Rochester so far.

Terry isn't a hockey guy other than a fan. I don't want him picking the coach.

I'm pretty sure that would be the fastest way to really making a poor name for yourself in the league in general.
