Probably not. Would you want to fire a guy you've worked with for 10+ years and have built a close relationship? No. Nobody wants to fire anybody in this league. It's a matter of a needed change.

Another roster move has to happen IMO. No way is it simply just waiving mcm and firing Ruff. Statement has to be made through and through. I'm talking like moving hecht and others to the bench and bringing up guys like Mancari, Adam (whom I hate) Porter, etc. A clear and definitive message needs to be sent.



And yes I'm aware that firing the coach of 16 years should be enough of a message. But the talent needs to change, as well as the coach.



And memo to Darcy: get on those phones quick because youre on deck as far as receiving a pink slip goes

Flynn will be the next call-up; Leopold will be traded if he does not shape up in the next couple of games. Right now its Leopold, Adam and a pick for Reilly.....that was turned down.

McNabb will not be far behind...he might as well start playing with Myers and let them make mistakes for the balance of this season.

After today, I can't accept that things are going to be the way they've always been. This is the biggest change they could have made. 2nd would be canning Darcy. 3rd would be trading 26, 29 or 30.

Things are different. This is a culture change as much as a personnel change.
