Good point, but that does limit our secondary scoring which is why I'd love to be able to add another top 9 forward that plays a good two-way, all-around game and can even play with Lappy and Higgins/Hansen and be used against other team's top lines. That frees up the Hank's, Kesler's and Schroeder's lines. And you could then use Kesler against the other team's second line if they have a legit one or use Lappy's line against the second and Kesler against the top line as well depending on the talent level.

Can't have both Hodgson and Ott, it was one or the other. And frankly, I would have hung up right away if that's what Dallas wanted. Ott's not exactly a cheap 3rd liner, and he's good at faceoffs but actually a natural winger FYI.

It's been reported that the Avs won't move him until they get a great offer, it's not like they're making the playoffs this season anyways either and I doubt they want to move him to the best team in their division unless the offer is just ridiculous.

Yeah he grew up about 10 minutes from me. Great family. Him and Cal are awesome players. So Schroader and Jensen? That's the minimum it would cost, plus a 4.5 mill price tag. I think he is great but I'm not sure we can swing that

They are offering 3.5 over 2 yrs or 5, his choice. So 4 is the low end of what he accepts. I have no problem moving Jensen. ROR is only a couple yrs older. I don't think your offer gets him
