The Soutbleast, home of the loser point. Another one, between Tampa and Florida. Last week, they both lost to the Habs, but took home a loser point. I'm betting that one of these teams squeak in, thanks to these loser points. Both teams look abysmal and would fit in the American Hockey League quite nicely. - PrinceLH
U dont have to worry about other teams getting the loser point ya team is getting the winner points... |

My fellow leaf fans are a funny bunch.
After 4 wins in a row at least 80% of leaf fans on here couldn't stop singing their praises.
1 bad game and a few short term injuries and the sky is falling. Kessel is crap blah blah blah.
Is analyzing this team in the big picture that difficult ? Not based on the last shift played. |

Well, the Senators have gotten dealt the biggest poop sammich hand of cards this season, so far...I was looking forward to watching Karlsson play tonight, that injury is a kick in the balls for certain. This is exactly the kind of games the Leafs need to take advantage of though if they want to get anywhere.
Also people are imo being way too hard on Grabbo all of a sudden. He's being used as a shutdown centre against the best lines and he's doing it well. It seems in Toronto we just rotate through each scapegoat...first Kessel's in the papers because of a drought, then Phaneuf, now Grabbo. Funny thing is I think all three players have actually been playing pretty well. |

if Anderson keeps his level of play up, the Sens are going to be a handful every time out. they're not an easy mark for any team, regardless of the injuries. |

The point is, that if you want to be one of the good teams, you take advantage when a bubble team loses it's top 2 or 2of3 best players.

No question, despite losing their best forward and defensman they still have the ultimate ace in the hole, having the best goalie in the league at the moment, so basically the player most likely to win a game by himself...right now, that's Craig Anderson...how (frank)ed up is that?
that's exactly why the Leafs need to capitalize on a game like this, it's hard enough as it is, having Karlsson and Spezza in too would be a whole different thing
so Go Leafs (frank)ing Go |

Fully agree should be a fun game... they should show up for this one.. couple of mental lapses as the season has gone on.. but I am happy they are in most games.. so far... |

they are playing in a way that's noticeably different than under Wilson, noticeably better...doing some things that just didn't do at all. Basically for being at the quarter point in the season thing's have gone better than most people would have thought. |

the Canadian rivalries suck right now, the Canadian teams need to stop sucking so much rhino cock, it's a bummer
