Honestly, with the way they already dumped some of the defensive players, I wouldn't be surprised to see them try and fix that first. The offense isn't that bad if you pretend that Fitzpatrick isn't the QB. They have a top receiver and they have a top RB. Now they just need to fill in some of the pieces. The defense on the other hand, is a mess.

When Barnett is the best of the LBs you have, it's a problem.

to be fair, lou is one of the best gms in the nhl, so comparing him to anyone is unfair to the other person imo.

Girgensons is going to be better than Gaustad. He's got the tools, he's just adjusting to the pros. He was really starting to get into a groove before he got destroyed in a game and has been battling a concussion.

I'm not about to trade away all of my good prospects for guys halfway through their career. Especially if you're thinking about "rebuilding."

They'd trade McNabb before Pysyk. Pysyk is a better skater and is also a right handed shot.

They were already loaded at defense in the prospect pool prior to taking Pysyk. They obviously like him a lot more than you think.
