No looking it up if it technically is or not, just at first thought. We had a heated debate about this at work the other.

Looks like Barkley, Smith, and Nassib are all doing full workouts at the combine next week.

Girgensons is going to be better than Gaustad. He's got the tools, he's just adjusting to the pros. He was really starting to get into a groove before he got destroyed in a game and has been battling a concussion.

I'm not about to trade away all of my good prospects for guys halfway through their career. Especially if you're thinking about "rebuilding."

They'd trade McNabb before Pysyk. Pysyk is a better skater and is also a right handed shot.

Girgensons hasn't really been an elite scorer yet though
If I had to bet, I'd say he's prob closer to a 20goal guy than a 30goal scorer

I don't WANT to trade him,
But Ennis is already showing signs he could grow into a ppg player
We won't know that with Girgensons for at least 3years or more

To me, the fact that his offense isn't the first thing that anyone knows about him tells me that he's that good at being a defenseman first and getting points second. Of our prospects, he's one of my untouchables.

so, after watching grigo play twice this year, and seeing his stride and especially his swagger the 2nd game i saw him, i noticed something familiar that i couldn't place. i read scouting reports and folks compared him to malkin. now we don't know if we'll ever develop that way, and he's green and imo playing somewhat timid because of it, AND his linemates are not amazing, but after reading all of those reports after the 2nd game i saw (canadiens) i have to say i'm cautiously optimistic at seeing if he grows into a player that's even half as good as malkin.

He's not going to be an elite scorer playing in a league with 20+ year olds. Especially when he was coming out of the USHL. That's a huge jump for anyone to make. He'll be fine. They're going to do develop him right. Besides, his intangibles are part of what make him such an intriguing prospect.

I finally did some digging since you always ask.

On O'Reilly- they are kicking the tires but he isnt on the front burner is what I'm told. So basically they know he exists and is available.

Also was told changes will be made if they keep going like this. IDK how long they have to suck for, but was told changes will probably be made if they dont turn it around.
