Expansion teams bro. Move Phoenix to Québec and add a team to Seattle and Markham. Move Buffalo to the bus conference and there you go.

Just what we need. I'd rather retract a couple of teams and move Columbus and another team east.

Actually I was talking about Weber to Ottawa. Per Renaud Lavoie I believe.

30 is a pretty bad number, 32 is much easier to split. While it will dilute the talent, that would bring more money to the league. And it would mean less travel for the players, and less dispenses for the teams.

Not to mention the owners want this expansion because they won't have to split the new revenues with the players until the next CBA.

Leaf fans are rejoicing everywhere. They don't realize the joke is on them. The Sens will likely crap out into a very high draft pick, while the Leafs might now squeeze into the final spot taking away any lottery odds.

The Oilers are getting the 1st overall pick anyway.

Wait wut? Heard Swedes, but not Philly. And his rhetoric was rather that noone wanted to play there, not even the francos. He then said, what is left? The Swedes? Was more of a question than a prediction. Also considering how many non-francos/non-swedes were playing there, his rhetoric was flawed. You can't take one player as an example and apply his thinking to every other players. Although it's true that a lot of good franco players chose other towns because of the pressure to be 'The guy' in Québec/MTL.

I look forward to a team in Seattle, aside from the part that they'll likely win the cup before we do.

Didn't see the sens mentioned from Renaud. Dunno if he's right but he said the Habs wouldn't have trouble trading Weber if they ever put him on the market, I find it surprising personally.

What sucks for Sens fans is the fact Karlsson may never be the same skater again, which will dramatically affect his game.
