I don't feel like Scott has done anything "wrong"... he is what we expect him to be. He even has changed us getting bullied as much as we have in the past.

I think him or McM will sit most games... Scott will play when we are against an obvious goon or cheap shot team.. McM will play otherwise.

He was useless against boston when we were in are own zone... If he gets caught on the ice when we are in are own zone "which is often lately" he is a big liability.

I could see L.Adam turning out like that. When he leaves Buffalo I can see him going to a team and getting 40-50pts in his first full year.

Incorrect. 57 Is the reason we are terrible. No one else. Sekera is perfect. Leo is amazing. Regher has great speed. Weber has great puck handling skills. Sulzer plasy stout D. Stafford and Hecht and Foligno are all tearing up the score sheet. Ruff is using Grigorenko perfectly. Nothing else could be except only 57 is playing bad.

Agreed. People overate him way to much already. This team is tougher yet worse then last year... I would rather have someone who can at least log minutes and not be a liability when on the ice.

Did anyone see the interview with Myers before his first benching?

He kept using the words "embarrassing but deserved" and saying things like "I needed this early last year too and it only motivated me" and that "the rest on his legs will be nice but he is eager to prove more"

I have confidence that he will start to play better but this year is the first year that Myers has been used consistently against each team's top lines from the games I have seen.. In year's past it seemed to be Regehr and Sekera who got the most minutes against other top lines.

Its meaningless because we are worse this year then last year... His goon role means nothing when were getting outplayed every game this year pretty much.

Besides the knockout against Boston he has been a joke.

we have SUFFERED greatly the last two games in shot differential and setting up in the offensive zone because we don't have hte puck advancement skills of Myers..

if anyone here can honestly say that Myers not being on the ice and our lack of offensive shots from within the zone are not correlated then I want you to submit for a drug test.

not to mention only 4 goals scored... before that we were actually scoring pretty decently.

that is a fair point.. there has ot be balance in players... Boston, Philly, and STL are probably the best at having a good mix of their gritty players and their scorers on the ice.

We don't have that balance right now because our secondary scoring isn't present outside of V/H/P/E... So we are literally.. goon-ville.. or dynamic.. no middle area.

When you do understand that, you would sleep better at night.
He is not in Buffalo to dazzle us with his offensive skills!
He was brought to the Sabres to keep teams like Boston and Ottawa from running our players out of their rinks!
And, to me. he has done that.

If Kaleta, McM, and Leino were not in and out of the lineup with injuries.. I don't believe Scott would have played even half the games he has now.

Adam was a top prospect here in Buffalo as was Turris in PHX. Turris was doing terrible because he wasn't being used properly and was traded and did pretty good. I see Adam doing the same thing.
