He's suppose to bury them. He's our #1 center. Outside of his few offensive chances, he's been terrible in our zone. Although he's always a defensive liability.

I think you're being a bit harsh. He's playing on the PK, which they haven't scored on. He's also won 64% of his faceoffs. Nobody on the team is burying anything, so to hang it on one guy isn't really fair.

Its given to the guy who demonstrates throughout the season the greatest all-round ability in the position. Sorry I don't feel he did that defensively.
