He doesn't really play for Anaheim. The Flyers are just loaning him to them. Until the time is right for him to come home!
- MJL

He's really an alien pod who will burst open his Ducks jersey at any moment to reveal an Orange jersey with a flying black "P" on it.

I would be shocked if there is anyone on this website that still doesn't know where Bobby Ryan is from.

Anybody else hear this rumor that st louis and philly are starting to scout each other as trade partners... St Louis need a d man and have plenty of power forward type players.. That being said i dont think we have the necessary depth to start trading d men away

LAte to the game but...

That JVR goal past Schenn was a beaut.....I've seen that many many many times while Schenn was a leaf.

JVR has 8 goals so far and he's played great.....good trade so far.

All true, but I don't think he's going anywhere. He's needed in Anaheim, where he is charge of removing squiggly lines from Perry's vision.

The biggest problem JvR had here is something you were just guilty of. Too many people compared him to LeClair. Totally different players in every single aspect.

JvR will NEVER become John LeClair. Ever.

- jak521

And Schenn will never be anything close to A Foote....as someone posted earlier.

No problem with that. I'd be happy to discuss it.

It's not philosophical, nor is it broad in scope. It's simply Hockey.

Yeah, they are pricey for the quality of the food. I haven't been to Ponzio's in probably a decade or more.

and will still lose 12-11 after a puck hits off of Giroux's shin pad in the slot and goes over Boucher's glove with .3 seconds left.

If you read through the previous 16 pages I think you'll find (with a few dissenters) that we are still happy with the trade. JVR is a good player with a lot of potential to be a great player. I wish him well with you guys. Schenn has had some very strong games with us and I cringe when I think of the line up without him. We expected some growing pains. I still think he's going to get better as well. One game or one goal isn't going to sour me to him.
