Absolutley not.. but he would be better than Enroth.. and give Miller a break once in awhile... |

People should stop buying tickets and going to the games - SABRES 89
Then you should stop ordering Center Ice. It's no different you realize. You're still putting money in their pockets. |

Most of the tickets for this season are already sold. And it wouldn't work.
Next suggestion... |

The Buffalo Sports Fan Base (particularly Bills Fans) is easily excited by sparkly objects. They are easy targets for Marketing directors. |

You have to stop taking this issue personal. We're not saying "Goose, stop going to games, it all your fault!". What were saying is they leave us no choice. Those guys will listen to every little request we have, which is fantastic. They've improved so many nuances of the gameday experience in the arena and at home. But for some reason they wont listen, not even one bit to what we have to say about the on ice product. Its mind boggling. |

Honestly Garth, Miller has been no better until the last two games. This team is extremely boring to watch and I am sick of it. The only way to change what we become accustomed to seeing is by firing Ruff. |

Sure, but give the AHL guys a chance before taking in someone elses leftovers. |

This team would make Hasek in his prime look average. That's how bad they are. Put a decent team in front of Enroth, and he'll be just fine as a backup. The only reason they made any kind of push last year is because Miller stood on his head every single night. |

Its been a problem for 6 years too. You would think they'd get around to that. |

Horsepoop.
Plenty of franchises sell out games and changes are still made if needed. Plenty of franchises have half empty buildings and nothing is done to fix anything.
I get it. It feels like the one place where the fans may have power over the owner. Do you really think this guy cares if he hit him in the wallet? No. Do you really think he doesn't see that things aren't going well? That he needs a statement from the fans to encourage him to notice the W-L record? No. |

You don't seem to understand that it's easy for you to say people should give up their tickets. You don't have them. It's an easy choice for you because it affects you in no way. That's the part that you don't seem to get.
Why don't you just stop watching them on TV and posting on here? Really, that request isn't any different than what you're telling the fans that have bought tickets to do. If you can't give up doing those things, don't expect someone else to either. |

They pay people, several people to evaluate the on ice product. If they left every decision up to the fans the team would have folded a long time ago.
Name a sports franchise that builds their team based on fan input. |

My point was that even if one of the Buffalo Sports team had a bad year and the fan base is upset about it, they are easily lured into believing in the team the next season because of simple marketing gimmicks, a big name or drivel from WGR....

Kevin Sylvester is an idiot. He will defend everything about this team and I cannot stand it.
Caller brought up a point and said Lindy is a D first coach and with are D being so bad something has to give.
Sylvester responds with Lindy is not a D first coach he preaches offense. - ImThatGuy
one thing i did notice is that with brian duff and mike robataille during the intermissions, they're going A LOT smoother. before robey would disagree with sylvester a ton and get sort of annoyed and now duff and mike seem to have a really good chemistry going where they generally agree with each other and play off the others point. also mike smiles a lot now, which is a plus. see what happens when a player gets better linemates! |

Again, stop taking it personal. Think logically, stop thinking emotionally.
All I am saying is that is the only choice they leave us. Will people choose that route? Probably not. The last 4 years i've wanted to get on the list for seasons. I've gone as far as to put the deposit down on the website, put in the credit card # and then couldnt bring myself to click "proceed". Thank god because i've been spared a lot of money and really bad hockey. |

Yea it's pointless to make a stand like that IMO. It was the exact same thing with the lockout. People were looking for ways to get back at the players or owners, Look at the ticket renewal, 99%? something like that. As long as their is hockey people will and will want to attend. Die hard fans who have knowledge of the sport are a monority, not everyone knows or cares whats wrong with the team, If you give up you're seasons, someone else will take them, it's just how it is. |
