Whereas dion gets paid 6.5 million plays every night and just plain sucks... - ShootingSemin
Id rather dion than markov? Hmmm let me pay a player to be injured 90 percent of the time or have a player that brings more qualities than a injured player hmm. Complains about dion but is a beast of a player. Guys huge, hits, fights when he wants to fight and dont look at the 10 games he played. Last year he had one hell of a good season. |

No, Kaberle got more points, Markov can actually play defense.... - ShootingSemin
Many seem to forget that Kaberle actually was pretty decent defensively in his earlier years. Not sure why, but he seemed to forget how to defend, even before the Janssen hit.
It surprises many that in his earlier years, he even played quite a bit of PK, averaging 2 to 3 minutes a night there. You would never think that when on the same team as a good shutdown guy like Dmitri Yushkevitch, he actually got more PK time than him.

His game went to crap, but for about 4 or 5 years, no contest, Kaberle was way better than Markov, at both ends of the ice. |

That JVR call was (frank)ing brutal.
The puck was four feet away from him - Dozzer
Yeah, brutal. Jvr fell down and his hand hit the ice, ref thought he touched it. It's unacceptable to have refs calling penalties for what he thinks happened. |

Are you kidding me? The Canucks mod is by far the most ban-happy of all the mods.
I hope you continue to ban the constant Canucks trolls.
It is a guarantee that if Leafs fans pulled the same crap on a Canucks thread it would be insta-ban. - Aetherial
He has his way of moderating and that is fine, I got comments on their thread that I'm a jerk because I don't tolerate trolling |

I have never run into a problem with the Habs mod. I guess I haven't really trolled at all on their threads though. I like most of the Habs fans at HB.

He doesn't choose to be on the right side, Carlyle makes that call - Dozzer
Im pretty sure phaneuf prefers that side, he always rotates back to that side and i recall wilson trying him on that side and he just rotated back to the right side. I think its more his preference rather than the coaches... I know sounds stupid but phaneuf is that type of player i would say, coach has to demand him and put him strictly to the left side so his BOMB shots can actually hit the net |

Ooh prock, I think Markov is and was better in the defensive zone then Kaberle, IMO. |

Once in a while trolling is OK.
Trolling that happens multiple times a day, every day, and continues for hours at a time is irritating.
I have no idea what kind of envy some Canucks fans suffer from.

Agreed. If he misses it then dont call it.
Missed calls are a part of hockey. It happens.
A penalty should only be called if the ref is 100% sure of it |

It's even worse when they call it and it didn't happen. Jvr got called for it the other day and wasn't close to touching it.
Just a terrible rule. - burn
did he really touch the puck.
they replayed that play a few times during the game it showed that he did not touch the puck |

Trolling is not okay at any time.
Sometimes we will let it slide but it's a bannable offense and people need to realize this.
Some refs have more tolerance than others, but you can't fault a ref for following the coc. It's well within our realm to do so |

Well, you're entitled to your opinion. It's true, he actually had quite a few years that he was pretty damn good in his own zone.
Would you have expected to see stats showing Kaberle as a fixture on the PK for so many years? |

The player follows the system set by the coach. Carlyle would never allow Phaneuf to constantly play out of position. Carlyle is a big time systems guy and Phaneuf is his captain. If Phaneuf doesn't listen then why would the other players?
Carlyle is the one making the call on positioning |
