Black River Entertainment, terry and kims country music record label (who knows, maybe it's lucrative like gas well drilling?) signed kelly pickler, who i don't know anything about but have seen on tv before.

if black river entertainment can sign a big free agent, maybe someday the sabres can as well! (i'm looking at you Corey Perry!)

problem is there is no one for him to play with....youre not breaking up 26 19 and 29 so that leaves who for him to play with.

Hes been a defensive zone liability, who doesnt even play defense at the center position. Hes our worst faceoff taker. Get him playing with talent.

side note, what is up with the NHL only having 1 game on a friday?

If I were a Sabres season ticket holder, or even a Sabres fan that pays for cable in the Buffalo area to watch games, I would organize a mob, march down to the Sabres front office, and demand that Lindy Ruff be put on the first bus out of town. That's how things would go down in Hockeytown. And that's why my Wings have 4 cups since 97, and Buffalo has ZERO. Wake up Buffalo organization. A loser is a loser.

Darcy is simply window dressing with his comments.
Sure Lindy will not be fired because he will just be moved up in the organization.
The words from Darcy were to merely mute the clamor that has been escalating the last few days around here when its comes to firing Lindy.
I dont think for a second Lindy is not in danger of losing his coaching job.
How can he not be? This not all on the players and even Darcy has to of taken the blinders off to see that.

We can all complain and scream that we want Lindy fired, but I personally feel that Lindy will be reassigned within the organization. The problem then becomes who will replace him? Darcy and Lindy have put their imprint on this organization as to the style of hockey played, from the big club to Rochester. Going outside the organization to find a coach, could alter that. So I could imagine that the next head coach would come from within the organization. So that begs the question are we better off with one of our assistant coaches or Ron Rolston? Or would a better plan be, finish out the season with Lindy and then hire a new head coach? Under this plan a new coach comes in being able to implement playing style, have a say on free agents, the roster and be able to review players in the system?

Of course Zetterberg, Datsyk, Yzerman, Lidstrom, etc, etc, etc. had NOTHING to do with those Cups..

Not defending Ruff at all but aside from Hasek Lindy has never had a player or roster that could even remotely compete with the list of HOF'rs that Detroit has put on the ice..
