I 'm not telling you how to spend your money, I just dont get why people would want to spend good money on a product that leaves them frustrated more times than not. - Homer
There is only 1 team at the end of every season that is happy with their team, their coach, and their goalie... |

I've been a Flyers fan for 20 years (I discovered them when they got Lindros in 92/93). Since the 94/95 season, the Flyers have missed the playoffs one time. Over that span, they've made it to the Finals twice and lost both times. I would suffer through 2-3 bad seasons if it meant they could stock their team with the pieces needed to win 1 Cup. - jmatchett
but at least the Flyers have been fun to watch, we arent even fun to watch anymore. |

I would imagine most Buffalo fans are tired of 'growing pains'. Tired of the constant 'rebuliding' from both professional organizations.
I would not move Vanek nor Pomminville. - TerryPegs
Without Vanek or Pommer there is no way that we can sign any UFAs to come here... they would look at our undersized and underachieving players and walk away. |

Buffalo has never actually rebuilt. They re-tool and try to sneak in the playoffs every year.
There havent been any growing pains, there hasnt been any growth. |

I would like a coaching change as well. I think it should be the first thing done honestly. If just to shake things up a bit. Maybe the players need a wake up call. I'm not sure what else would work. - HonkFortheGoose
it needs to be done.. even just a coaching change could propel the team to a decent position.. therefore i would like to see it happen over the summer so we can get a high pick. |

I said this all summer.... we balked at Ennis for Ryan because of a strong 15 games to end last season by Foligno - Ennis - Stafford...
I would trade a player on potential any day of the week... Especially undersized players. - JVince11
Agreed although Ryan hasn't impressed me much the past year and now this season. Ennis isn't cut out to have a career at C. He is a winger by nature and his size has a lot to do with it. |

I'm confused...
Leino hasn't worked out
U said "there's no guarantee Armia works out"
But u wanna trade proven guys like Vanek & Miller for draft picks who may or may not work out?
I'm not trying to be an ass,
I'm just confused as to what you're actually advocating for? - jdfitz77
I'd rather get younger at this point. I was merely stating before that I'm not agreeing with your point of Leino's contract being "terrible" simply because I think it's too early to say that for sure. Do I like what I've seen from him so far? No. But I'm not writing him off either. |

Could we just move him back to winger???
Put him next to Grigo and Foligno...
Ott - Hecht - Stafford
I think it is time to call up Porter.. he is playing very good hockey in the AHL.. he could be used as our 4C. - JVince11
Hecht at 3rd line center is even worse than him at 3rd line winger
Keep Ott on the Ennis line so they can win faceoffs and attack instead of wasting their shift chasing the puck around
Then I'd expect both Ennis and Stafford to be much more effective offensively |

Honest question... You are a penguins fan obviously...
but do you even watch all or any of the Sabres games???? You give a lot of "insight" and "recommendations" but I am just curious on if you watch?

I didn't balk at anything. I was begging they used Ennis as a key piece to get something better. |

seeing a young team with potential grow and put a real effort on the ice every night would be better to watch than what we have been seeing this season (outside of the top line) |

And when I say blow it up, I am talking about moving Vanek while his value has skyrocketed.
I dont expect that to be a popular opinion, but you can do things like that, or be the Calgary Flames. - Gunner Staal
tampa bay didnt have to get rid of their best players to rebuild |

I don't like our options either.... I would be willing to call up Flynn right now for a few games... it sure would be nice to see someone who is motivated to impress instead of Gerbe/Ellis/Scott/Stafford. |

I think he is a head case too, but his interview yesterday was spot on. This team leaves him out out to dry game in and game out. - Homer
Maybe if he doesn't let a scumbag like Parros go five hole on him, then give a wide open net to Mueller. I mean, there is absolutely no reason for Miller to be that far out of position on that play... |

I don't think he wants to spend his whole career playing for a coach like Ruff. I also think he will want a real chance at winning the Cup. I don't see that being a realistic goal in Buffalo with Darcy and Lindy still running this mess |

He doesn't trust any of his D-men... he doens't trust them to cover his back side nor to cover a passing lane... so he has to play every situation like a break away.. I don't think he has been a stone wall by any means but his stats are easily a product of the poor defense in front of him. |

those were two bad goals.. but at the end of the day miller has been one of the better players for the sabres this season. |

Told Pauld Hamilton he doesnt take face offs seriously. I mean really?
- Homer
Both Tylers have been an issure for me this season. The poor effort from Ennis on his backcheck that allowed Parros to score made me angry. But did Ennis really say that to Hamilton? That is almost Steve Johnsonesque. |
