Lets go Flyers!

Liked that period, the AHL guys all looked solid.

King Henry and his force field is tough to break.

Keep it up boys!

Good period from the Fly boys. Need more of that and some goals. Hopefully Knuble can be the veteran spark these young guys need. Boom back to hockey eh

Mike Knuble is a tremendous leader. I covered him when he was a Wash Capital and everyone respected him, he called out guys when need be.

Pertinent tweet.

Do liberals eat meat?
- Flyersgod

I do. Actually my pinko commie liberal ass just ate a T-Bone for dinner, with my favorite veggie, bacon on the side.

Very pertinent. Not too many veterans on this team who can be that guy in my opinion.

He'll make the rest of the forwards faster, just by comparison.

Obviously there is a spot for Knuble with Briere and Hartnell out. But I wonder where he fits in this lineup when and if everyone is healthy? I guess his play will determine that.

Interesting the Flyers are choosing to bring in a guy who perhaps more than anything brings leaderhsip.

He's being brought in because Hartnell is hurt. Otherwise he wouldn't have been signed. Familiarity is the biggest factor. His leadership is an intangible that's nice to have.

We will see but I dont think Knuble has much left in the tank regarding his play on the ice.

Perhaps management thought the team lacked leadership, and a veteran presence. Thats kind of disturbing to me.

Before last year, in the two previous years, he had 53 then 40 pts. Last year was horrible for him statistically.

I thought Shelly was supposed to be the veteren lockerroom presence? If not, what are they paying him for?
