I'd like OEL, Pietrangelo or Bogosian out of the RFAs but I can't see them leaving. Yandle would be a nice fit but his price might be steep. Perry would be good but gotta go after a dman first (maybe Streit?). I'd also buyout Bryz only if the team was essentially guaranteed to sign Jimmy Howard but I can't see Detroit letting him walk.

big howard fan. i think bryz is solid. but i have a hard time seeing him here for more than half his contract. also don't know they'd buy him out after 2 years and eat all that cash. obviously they'd rather trade him if they want him gone.

i hope he pulls it together. he's playing well, but i'm not seeing still quite the compete level. it's like he's already expecting the flukey garbage off the fedetenko skate to go in before the game even starts. i want to see spectacular. the team really needs it right now.

call me crazy, but i think heeter is this team's starter in 2 years.

I like Bryz as a goalie but I like Howard more. If we have to keep Bryz then no harm, no foul.

Flyers generally give optimistic first statements about injuries. To come out right away and call him out "indefnitely" sounds ominous to me. I'm hoping he's ready for the playoffs.
