yeah its crazy to see these puck skills from a guy who was basically regarded as only a sniper by most people. the dude is such a talent. it really waste wasted in Columbus.

I don't believe that. Time is the only judge. The fact that Schenn could barely hold onto a third pairing role in TO is only offset by the fact that JVR only managed 40 some games last year due to injuries.

I don't think that Schenn could barely hold onto a 3rd pairing role is an accurate description. He is very young for a defenseman. He's had as much NHL success to this point, if not more then JVR has. Schenn has a real chance to be a real good NHL physical defensive defenseman.

His foot speed is certainly below average for a d-man.. but so is his thinking.. he needs to be smarter and think quicker to really take himself to the next level.

Being a little off in positioning, and reading plays incorrectly makes a defenseman look slower then he is. I think that has been Schenn's issues. That is correctable in my opinion.

talbot is great, like jags said hes very under rated and underpaid, at 1.75 hes a steal. he deserves more than 10 min a game
