Disagree... Rolston never wanted to be traded here & when he was traded here, he was not given the role he was told he was going to have.
IF Gomez or Redden or any other free agent signs here, they are choosing to be here... it may be their only option (its not) but they would have signed a contract to be here... unlike Rolston, Muller, Vis & any other player that didnt want to be here.XxNYIxX - XxNYIxX
With these two jack wagons the feelings are mutual. Rolston is in my top five most hated Isles list and he was only here for a season
Edit; and Muller too, hate the (frank)ing guy. Douche |

Nash, Gaborik, Richards, Stepan, Kreider(if he doesn't have a slump), they have some depth. An excellent defense and a world class goalie. I'm not saying they are going to win it all but you certainly can't count them out on their offensive depth. - Cptmjl
Im not counting them out but they have one world class line and then hopefulls from there on out....defense and goaltending, yes they are in excellent shape, but in the play-offs they cant roll out the NGR line over and over |

Just with the players I mentioned they have 2 excellent PP units and those same player COULD be spread out over three lines if of course there is some chemistry? I wouldn't mind having that depth up front. |

Not comprable to us...i would like that depth too...ANYWHERE...our D next season comes down to 2 guys Amac and Carkner....were screwed again....Carkner is a goon and Amac shouldn't have even made the bridgeport team...What Dmen are we going to pluck from waivers next season? |

They dont have hopefulls, they have some of the most tenacious skaters in Hagelin and Callahan. Add to that the Grit of Rupp, Asham, and the young talent in Stepan and Kreider........how can anyone say their forwards are only one line. That team rolls deep, and their d is excellent. Lets not be homers here. Give credit where due... |

You need a goon on D... & AMac can play hell 2 seasons ago he was being viewed as a savior. They just need to get him & josh back under the chains.

remember everyone was talking about how great their PP unit was going to be last year too. it was awful... They have 2 very good lines and 2 very sub par lines. If we had of gotten Asham, Pyatt, Rupp, Halpern, and gilroy you guys would all be talking how much Garth Sacks.. instead we are talking about how wonderful Sather is doing.. stop. They still have Marty the rebound Party behind Henrik... and even though he played good for them last year I am Banking on every one of his games they stink and in a shortened season he will play more. That and their "shot block system" will cause a ton of injuries... so yes they look good but you never know. |

"It's been a bit of a rough ride in Jersey," Rolston told The Star-Ledger. "I'm actually happy to go to a place that wants me. I just want to start new. I'm actually really happy about the change.
"I saw it coming. There was no blindside here. It was something we discussed from the end of the season and into the summer." -- Rolston
And not having the role he wanted? He got loads of ice time and power-play time. Much more than he was getting in NJ. He lost that ice time when he laid an egg on the ice for far more games than any other team would have tolerated. |

I know how people felt about Amac but he has lead feet and im sick of watching anyone skate around him and him being down on EVERY play....i hope he went to JT's skating coach |

I guess all those Mario meetings are paying off.. I mean I haven't seen Cooke try to take a knee out in pre-season at all.. maybe it's rubbing off on rest of organization. Does he whine like a Btch to the refs after every whistle though? If not we don't want him. - niteislander
