He's already left his kid...he's making these statements about not being able to fly...as he's flying around Russia while his kid is in Slovakia. I get that it's different distances, but he's not even traveling with the KHL team to play out of an obligation or something like that...he's not allowed to play...he's just going along on the trip to hang around and practice for the next week. This is not like the Isles are tearing him away from the bedside. I'm sure I'd be a lot more sympathetic if this was the only roadblock the guy had tried to throw up to avoid coming here, but all together, it sounds like the end of the last Pirates of the Caribbean movie (yeah, I watched it) when Penelope Cruz doesn't want to get stranded on the island and fires off a rapid succession of excuses on why she can't be left there...each sounding more serious than the last. You could drive Lubo's race car through the holes in all his stories if he didn't smash it up.

X, Kids always have colds.. We have 346 kids a week through our gym, and they alll seem to have the sniffels.. Little biggers, but parents do not stay home from work.
