I'd say just around 10th...just to piss off everybody with no playoffs and a bad draft pick. |

They went from
Pacioretty-Desharnais-Cole
Bourque-Plekanec-Palushaj
Geoffrion-Eller-Blunden
Staubitz-Leblanc-Dumont
Markov-Subban
St-Denis-Gorges
Emelin-Campoli
to
Pacioretty-Desharnais-Cole
Galchenyuk-Plekanec-Gionta
Bourque-Eller-Moen
Prust-White-Armstrong
Kaberle-Gorges
Markov-Emelin,
Bouillon-Diaz
I think it's safe to say they're a better team than last year, even marginally. They won't make the playoffs, but I don't think they'll finish 15th again. |

Last game's lineup doesn't mean the entire season's lineup...but I agree with you

I see no team that we may be better than. Devils or Jets maybe. I think Leafs, Isles, Canes,Panthers will be ahead of us. |

Good question...seriously I don't think the Habs are better than 5 teams in the East.
Maybe a couple of teams get a couple of key injuries and Habs finish ahead of them...don't know. I just have a feeling that this season won't be a good one. |

Doesn't matter because Florida is still better than Montreal. |

you think if they're fully healthy they'd have the same results?
or even if not fully healthy at least not missing 270+ man-games - Habitants98
No they would obviously be better, but to me you know that you will have injuries so you have to have the depth players to step in. Montreal did not have that so I don't think they had a good roster. |

Zajac is ballin now!
can't Subban ball??
see the devils signed Zajac to that contract because they realize they have no depth at center, they might in 2 years but right now they will live and die with Zajac, Henrique is injured too
so why dont the Habs realize they dont have a replacement for Subban?
its the exact same scenario imo (but i'm sure i'm bout to be told how wrong i am) - Habitants98
I hope Bergevin sticks to his plan and tells Meehan to go (frank) himself. |
