Frenchie ....i will disagree with his own zone coverage. He did just fine.

Faceoffs need work

and Grigs doesnt have to hit in the NHL ....he needs to make plays. Plus on an Olympic ice rink for the world juniors there isnt a lot of hitting in general. Yes his happen but not as much at on an NHL rink.

Grigs should be NHL ready ...... averaging 2 points per game this year shows hes learned enough in Juniors.

He will be good but I think you bring him along slowly. No reason to rush this kid. Let him win in Juniors and the AHL. The Sabres have enough parts to trade for another scoring center now. Grigo should hone his skills and when he's seasoned be brought up to dominate

He doesn't have to hit but he still has to be able to absorb punishment in the dirty areas. What's your estimation in these regards? Otherwise he'll just be considered "soft".

I don't actually read Garth's blogs, I don't find him to be entertaining as a writer. But what I have noticed basically since the draft is that the title of his blog is a new made up name for Grigorenko.

Thank you for the "good luck" to those of us in Buffalo. Personally, I thought his defensive play was not too bad in the WJC. But I think you were spot on with the rest. I do think he needs more time with the ramparts. But I would like to see him up with the Sabres for the 6 games before his contract kicks in. Just to get a feel for the speed and flow of an NHL game. And to see how he handles the hitting and the punishment. Then he can take that knowledge back to Quebec and dominate there. I think the year of the Sabre is 2014, when he gets his shot in the bigs. Along with Joel Armia and some others. Can't wait to see Armia in blue and gold.

I've actually only read one of his blogs since the WJC's. I don't need to since he copy and pastes the same thing over and over again maybe with a new sentence or youtube video to dull the monotony.

I follow this site, they talk about him and laugh, I read it, rinse and repeat.

Also I hope you make the same defense of those watching Real Houswives, Honeybooboo and The Jersey Shore.
