I'm actually very much looking forward to seeing him get in a game and subsequently spontaneously combust. - eichiefs9
I hope Lombardi and Komisarek are on a 2-0 when that happens. |

My best friend growing up in elementary school & high school Ben would have LOVED th e FANTASTIC 4 HUMAN TORCH SET as seen above. He liked setting fires & making molotov cocktails. Good thing he sucked at it cause his headquarters for this inasane hobby use to be the garage at my old house. - GCHonda
No cat would have been safe in my neighborhood, that's for sure. Kids these days have everything. |

Luongo wants to win a cup b4 he retires. He won't win it in TO or the Isles so if Philly buys out Bryz, why wouldn't Luongo wanna go to Philly? At least they are a contender every year. - GCHonda
Why would Philly want him? |

Flyers have contacted PK Subban per twitter - BingoLady
I'm not sure if I could HATE Subban any more than I already do but if he puts on a Flyers jersey we will find out. The Pens should sign Jamie Benn!!! Screw it we had a lockout but now we're going to start throwing money at players again!!! I love the NHL |

also, you flyers fan need to settle down a bit. 'coots' as you so creepily and maybe possibly racistly call him is a good player, and could turn out awesome.
but wasnt there a contingent of you saying Leino was gonna be king of goals or something as well? and now he's likely a buyout option.
see also: edmonton turds carving the names 'isbister' and 'shremp' into their bodies. (would have said NYI fans as well, but they didnt exist in the early 2000's) - zedniksghost
Coots is his team nickname..many teammates referred to him like that last year. I am not racist, and don't imply any racism at all.
Leino was a good fit for what he was paid in Philly, but he wanted too much, and he suffers now in Buffalo. |

Florida has Theodore, Clemenson who had great seasons last year ending the Cats 10 year playoff drought. The Cats are happy with that duo. Plus they have the youngster Markensson (spelled wrong) waiting in the wings & he's got alot of great potential. So no Florida for Lu. - GCHonda
yeah but all they have to do is sign him to a 3 or 4 year contract if he is bought out and then he can mentor Markstrom like he did with Schneider. |

If Luongo gets bought out then he probably wants to sign somewhere that he has the chance to win a Cup. He will take a massive pay cut to do so. Why wouldn't the Flyers take a chance on Luongo for $1M for 1 year? |

so to be clear.
everyone thinks Luongo sucks and nobody would want him why?
i can understand salary constraints, but not performance ones. yeah, he blew a game in the playoffs a couple years ago, and yeah yeah, everyone hates vancouver forever for some reason as well.
but really? 'why would philly want him'? christ, all but a handful of teams in the NHL, assuming they had the cap space, would love to get this guy. I'm not particularily a fan of his, but i can see he's an elite goaltender. compared to the sieve-festival that was the philly-pitt series last year, he'd be considered a goaltending god by those standards. |

If his priority is to win a Cup then sure. Or he could forget that and get a big pay day from Toronto or Columbus. |

I don't think Columbus would offer that big of a contract, but I could be wrong. Still not sure why Toronto is the most commonly linked team to Lou. They need way more than someone to play in the net, to seriously contend |

I said the same thing earlier. It wasn't but a couple of years ago he was considered one of the top goalies in the league. If not for the numbers on his contract i would love to have him as Marty's replacement in Newark, once marty hangs them up. |
