I don't know what the consensus is, but I for one have no tolerance for people ripping on these kids. He was only there because of the coach? Not saying that isn't possible, but do you seriously follow junior hockey enough to present that as a fact? I seriously doubt it. Jesus, one bad period costs them the gold and its like they were the worst team of all time.

I doubt you watched the whole game. Team Canada ended the game with roughly the same amount of shots and scoring chances. They could have made a comback, as improbable as that is, if the USA goalie wasnt awesome and if they didnt hit the post/crossbar twice. Just because they lost doesnt mean they sucked. You have to actually watch the game, especially since most goals in anygame of hockey could go either way.

I watched the game, and if you think Canada/USA was an even game in any way then you're either stupid or a homer. The only reason Canada got anything happening was because the US was up 5-0 and the game was essentially done. You are quite literally, the ONLY person I have heard suggest this.

Nah, I am just giving my opinion same as you man. I don't care to get in personal arguments if you want to respectfully debate using logic and facts and ideas I am game. You are totally free to disagree with me. I am sorry if I made it seem like I was right or somehow an authority. I am just calling it like I see it and I don't like to see people rip on these kids when I am certain they could have won just as easily.

Save your opinions on who did/didn't watch what..... it's making you look pretty stupid.

BTW, how can you have an opinion on something you have no knowledge about?? Interesting.

They most certainly are not. Except for Hubreidea (whatever on spelling that) and RNH. Regardless, its sickening. And the guy I accused of not watching the game, we both know he didnt, so I dont see how that makes anyone look stupid, but I refuse to argue anything peronal. Hockey only. No fights.

Yeah they are.... they are paid, and cover their education.

Saying "I doubt you even watched" is extremely arrogant. Just like you told me " doubt you follow juniors".

EDIT: FYI, the NCAA considers the CHL Professionals.

I guarantee you that mostly everyone on that roster (if not everyone) will get an NHL contract if they don't have one already.

Practically everyone on the team has been drafted by an NHL club already.

doesn't matter...... all that matter is that they get paid for play (Hence professional), have their education covered, and the NCAA considers them pro.
