Don't get too down over this, from what we've seen thus far, it's clear that Fehr's reaction would be nonplussed REGARDLESS of the details in the NHL's offer; precisely why several owners have no interest in 'negotiating' with him.

I, for one, am rather convinced that Mr. Fehr will not approve of ANY deal the owners can reasonably be expected to table. As such, I see it coming down to an eventual insurrection within the NHLPA if a deal is to be made.

And in the end, their pride will f%£$ them... even further than it already has.

That said, I sure as hell hope to be proven wrong.

You're right. Donald Fehr is responsible for the mismanagement of the League. For the teams like Columbus who has been in existence for over a decade. And has yet to put a quality team on the ice, and failed to build a fanbase. And he's responsible for teams being placed in poor markets such as Florida and Phoenix. And he is responsible for all the failed business plans of the owners and the failed CBA that they put in place that led to the players revenue share growing too high. Definitely all Fehr's fault. Good call!
