It's more fun this way. Debates are great, the incumbent gets publicly flogged by 4 or 5 other people candidates relentlessly. Great pay off.

lol im not sure if i'd even like hockey if i lived in Canada the past 10 years.

it's great to be in a country obsessed with it when i visit...but in some ways it's actually really nice to have it almost as a niche sport down here. cuts down on the idiot/casual fans like we have with the nfl

It's not hard to understand why players love playing just about anywhere except the Meccas like MTL and TOR.

I'm worried about Vag. But seriously I'm not sure how you can have a province like Alberta so rich in natural resources and not have an amazing surplus of wealth in the budget? And Google the name Alison Redford is you want some prime examples of a party who's been in power way too long.
- Cape Breton Bruins

I'm stable dude. I exercised my right to vote by secret ballot. I also think Jim Prentice is a Richard, the Wildrose are a bunch of bumholes, and the NDP are a bunch of pussies. Change was necessary.

I have a few friends who work in the government who are worried about their jobs now so I just hope they have things work out.

I'm curious to see how extreme the changes are. The first two years will either be decent or rough as Richards. Year 3 will be a settling phase and year 4/5 will probably be a waste as they spend the whole time campaigning for an election. So it'll be like every government.

They can't go as hard and make changes like the NDP in Saskatchewan and BC did because the public uprising would get them impeached once the dust settles. They also have to find a way to manage needs of rural vs urban communities which is going to be a huge issue for them looking at their platform that is so urban-centric.

Alison Redford was the worst thing to happen to Albertan politics since that dude in the 70's I learnt about in highshool.

I was rooting for a minority government. NDP blew the mission in NS with just as much fanfare but I think the Alberta version is more centric.
