Its amazing how little the strike is being looked at in the States.
In the NY Times Sports section it ranked right above
Washington State Suspends Star Wide Receiver
and right below
With New Deal, Ortiz Hopes to Spur Red Sox Rebound
The sooner both sides realize this the better. And this is from paper that has 3 teams in the state. And a few just outside it's borders. |

Nay Nay Nay Nay Hey Hey Hey Goodbye - HuileHab
I compared Yakupov to Rielly only because of draft year and the fact that if Rielly didn't blow out his knee, the Oilers probably would have picked him first overall.
JVR may not be better than Hall, but you can't definatley say he won't be. JVR was more dominate in the playoffs two seasons ago than Hall has ever been, and his size is an asset. I have not seen Hall play nearly as much because i happen to watch a lot of flyers games, but from what i have seen, he is a fast but stupid player. I am not saying this as a fact, I have not seen him enough to know better and am a way better judge of eastern talent.
For those getting their panties upset because I said Eberle was not as good as Kessel, keep in mind that advanced stats indidcate that Eberle was the luckiest player in the NHL last year (Kulimens 29 goal year dropped to 8 and he was the luckiest the year before) and Kessel was among the unluckiest. If Kessel had Eberles statistical luck, then he would have had almost 70 goals. This is admittidly a statistical formulation based on shooting percentage and you can take it any way you want. |

it is being looked at. unless you want full page or top placement articles about "still in a lockout", that's what you get. once the lockout ends it will be big news in the States. |

I don't get how JVR is better than Hall in any facet of the game other than being a soft pile of poop and having "statistical luck" in one playoff series. |

The problem isn't that Americans don't care enough it's that Canadians care too much. |
