they controlled it 65 seats to be exact from 2010 till now which is the time that Obama kept getting all his bills blocked....so yeah no..nice try tho
its 51 to 47 for democrats now though (2 indy) so if he gets this 2nd term he can actually start doing something....why do you think the rich are so desperate to get him out now - Habitants98
Sen. Harry Reid has been the Senate majority leader since Jan 2007. So why do you think everything in the GOP controlled house gets show down? Obama controlled the Senate and House for the forst 2 yrs of his Pesidency. That's why he rushed Obamacare as his 1st priority, above the economy and wars. Then he got his "Schilacking" |

It's a statement directed towards sheep - those that follow the leader or in this case, popular opinion. It's pretty obvious, but I don't expect them to think for themselves.

The GOP has not had a majority in the Senate, since the Clinton years. The way the Senate works, is the 100 U.S. Senators make up the Senate chamber. In the event of a tie vote, the Vice President of the United States casts the deciding vote. A law that passes in the Senate usually requires 60% of the Senators to agree on it. Anything less, is destined to a fillibuster and doesn't usually get passed. Obama had 60 Democrat Senators, to start his term. He lost about 7 of those, in the midterm elections. The midterm elections cause 1/3 of the Senate seats to be up for grabs, two years after the general election. Same goes for the House Of Representatives. Obama lost the House of Representatives, two years ago. He also lost his fillibuster proof Senate. This is why things got gridlocked, two years after his mandate started.
So the whole idea of blaming the Republican's for things not getting done is not true. The electorate voted in more Republican's, to slow down and hinder the President, until the next general election. Now, the people will decide where the country is going to go, not one party or idiology. |

You need to find better sources. That website looks like trash.
With regards to Libya:
1. Officials in Libya were aware of an imenent attack.
2. A request for more Marines was made. The State Dept has testified that it still felt that the Embassy had adequate forces for protection.
3. Within hours of the attack Al Queda claimed responsibility
4. The White House said it was an act of terror commited by people upset about a video.
5. For several weeks the WH claimed it was a video that lead to the attacks, when in reality it had nothing to do with the attacks.
6. The guy that made the video is still in custody.
The GOP blocking a bill that would add more security has absolutley nothing to do with this. I know Obama looks so cool cause he hangs out with Jay-Z, Beyonce and goes on the View, but in reality he has done very little to prove that he is capable of handling foreign and domestic issues. For the most part he has continued Bush's policies, while early on trying to push a left wing agenda while he controlled the house and Senate. If Bush did some of the things Obama has done, there would be protest in teh streets, and constant criticism from the media. |

You are correct. The mainstream media has been protecting Obama's back, since he was elected. They keep him in a bubble and temper any criticism of him or his policies. Obama has been campaigning since he won his first mandate. He had the opportunity for fix things, in his first two years, but the average person realized that he wasn't what he was advertised. He hired almost 40 czars, unelected, to run all the departments of the government. Known communists, like Van Jones, received these jobs. He elected a Supreme Court justice that was never a lawyer or a judge, but was a gay rights advocate and was anti constitution. Everything Obama has done, for the last 4 years, has been done to transform the United States into a European type socialist government. This is why he's so admired in Europe and parts of Canada, where Liberal Socialism has taken root. For the sake of the United States and the rest of the world, this man needs to be defeated and his power brokers need to be identified and outed.

oh you mean like the 11 embassy's that were attacked or the fact that the country itself actually was attacked under his reign? that Bush?
interesting
so in your opinion the GOP blocking a bill that would add more security for an embassy would do nothing to help maybe not have 4 dead....even if it didnt stop the attack...no better yet you claim it has'ABSOLUTELY NOTHING' to do with this this?
wtf kind of bs logic is that? certainly more security could have at least prevented deaths if not the attack....thats ridiculous
on one hand you claim Obama has done nothing to prove he can handle foreign policies, on the other hand you want ppl to vote for a guy who everytime he opens his mouth angers one nation or another, a guy who managed to piss off the UK with his olympic comments and thats the guy you want to take care of foreign policies...
interesting logic indeed
p.s. like most republicans you can name a million things all regarding the same issue as your answer to everything...Benghazi!
interesting indeed
you can say all you want about Obama which is fine and it wouldnt matter how much you think he hasnt done enough because imo based on the overall Willard Mitt Romney is not fit to be president
flip flop...i dont know how anyone can vote for a guy they can't trust a guy who changes his mind about everything he claims....all the time
this election is about who's WORSE for the country
i'm not mad though its not my country, although i do have family there, in the end i hope they make the right decision but i wont be shocked if they dont since they already elected Bush twice.... |

you can put the bolded parts together however you want..
how is Obamacare good for this country? Does healthcare need to be reformed, yes. Is it the ability of the Federal government to do it, not according to the constitution. This bill that he pushed through goes against the constitution and is skyrocketing the cost of health insurance for those that already have it. |

The response was real sarcasm. You made a so-called joke and I chose to do the same.
As for the "falshood" of your comment; it's not about true or false in this case, tabloid rumours are just that and nothing more. You asserted that in chicago obama has a direct corralation between himself and illegal voting.
It wasn't what you said, it was implied.
I'm going to say, as my opinion, Obama was set to fail from the start because (contrary to the media circus) many expected him to fail. Self fulfulling prophecy.
Oh... and inhertent racism throughout america. Only a small footnote... |

I believe the inhertent racism is part what got him elected.. that and McCain was not fighting the battle that was on the minds of America at the time.
you are talking in circles on the chicago thing... i have no clue nor do i care about him being involved with voter fraud, i was repeating what has been mentioned by the tabloids as a joke.
I don't follow your falsehood part of the comment i was asking what was false about me stating that the debt went up during his presidency and you talk about tabloids. how is the debt increasing a tabloid thing it is fact.. |

Look, The State Dept testified that they had adequate security. THe WH continued to lie about the cause of the attack. That's the issue. The entire time Obama has been in office, he appologizes for the US, he never calls a spade a spade. Ft Hood, Bengazi ect....The bottom line is that it's islamic extremists. Obama still tries to paint a rosy picture of the real issues. I served under Bush and Obama.....there is no question in my mind who was a better leader for the country. Every politician lies and flip flops.....Go look at Obama's campaign. If you want to play ref for Romney, you gotta call the game fair. Obama has done his fair share of lies. |
