It is your team, but if Scrivens was one of my teams starting goalies ,I would not be thrilled. If you are happy with him and think he is the answer to the puzzle, then enjoy.

If he didn't try to trade up, like he did with Pronger and Sedin, would he not be doing his job? Does proclaiming to fans that he's going to try and trade up and perform his duties as an agressive GM make him a blowhard when he fails? I think not because he has been successful at times trading up in the past...therefore it isn't schtick you ID

Exactly, it is not your team, and you know nothing about it. Saying Scrivens isn't ready because of three games this year, after a full stellar year.

Rielly is a great pick , but Burkie didn't need to add pressure to the kid by saying he would have taken him first overall. Just that one sentence will put all kinds of pressure on the kid as the rest of the league is now watching for his mistakes .

First of all as a Nuck fan I know Lu will not be on the Canucks this year. So whether he is a Leaf ,Oiler ,Blue Jacket or playing in the AHL we know he will not be on our team.His shipped sailed when he shot his mouth off the second time saying he wanted to play for FLA. So he is not our problem.

No Canuck fan in his right mind is trying to sell him for top end prospects or high end players. He will fetch a mid range prospect and a back up goalie .

If the Leafs don't want him fine he will go on waivers and Columbus will pick him up or the Oilers.
