Ok let's try this again, Jacques Lemaire? He played his whole career with Montreal. He coached the expansion team the Minnesota Wild. I know he won 1 stanley cup a a coach in NJ. I wouldn't doubt it with NJ's talent back than & Lemaire as coach that together they could reach the finals 3 times.

I was really bullpoopting. Just looking at names of coaches and clicking away. I went from Laviolette to Maurice to Bowman. Eventually I said, okay look at JA awards winners and CHL coach of the year award winners. Then I filled it in from there, and I kind of knew it had to be a recent expansion plus I would find a dead end looking at expansion head coaches. It's clear the way he worded it he wanted to trick you into thinking HC.

I thought it was Cladue Noel, but checked that he was never drafted, and he was an assistant in Columbus later on, not when they entered the league.

Only played with the capitals for 7 games, but won the ECHL and AHL coach of the years, won the Calder, lost it twice
