Yes those are the four that need be debated. If the draft were redone today I would suggest the Oilers revised order would be:
Seguin
Fowler
Skinner
Hall
I understand it is highly subjective but a winning team needs a #1 Dman and the Oilers may have remedied the problem. Dmen come along far more slowly. Fowler has the potential to break out. He may not be as good as Karlsson in Ottawa. But, he will likely be better than Carlsson of the Caps. He is shooting for a pretty high standard. - spatso
wrong
hall
seguin
fowler

It's a little silly. People like to HATE though.
I'm quite content with the Oilers picks the last couple years, as I'm sure most Oiler fans are. - robin_steele264

Lazar is nowhere near #4 right now, sorry to say. There's Barkov and Nichushkin that are ahead of him for Centers, Shinkaruk as a Winger and Ristolainen and Pulock as defenders. Others are debatable. Lazar is only on the edge of being top 10 right now.
But, things change fast when it comes to prospects and predicting the draft. - BarDownBobo
I agree. Monahan is another center I'd currently put ahead of Lazar. |

Wow when did you begin working for Central Scouting? What has Lazar ranked so high is he is on the Oil Kings and his size and style. But you keep your opinion I'll keep mine. |

dude, u get so upset when anyone disparages anything edm. relax.
he didnt claim to be an expert, or rip on lazar. he just said that hes on the edge of ten right now. i looked at 2 different lists, and he was right. 8th on one, and 10th on the other.
you're certainly entitled to it, but your opinion saying hes higher would be wrong.
dude also said things could change quickly. fair..no?
also, your 2nd sentence makes no sense whatsoever. not sure what you're trying to say. |

What part of that says I work for CS? It's called being observant. I like Lazar, but the simple fact is there are better players out there RIGHT NOW. I know you love any player on the Oil Kings, but simple fact is not a Top 5 Prospect as of now.
Also, with regards to his 'size,' he is listed as 6'0, 190lbs. So basically identical to our current 2C. |

Lazar Rankings
MyNHLDraft = 12th
Bleacherreport = 8th
Draftsite = 16th
ProScout = 8th
Rantsports = 12th
Thehockeywriters = 10th
I don't know how valid these sites are (probably not that reliable) but the general consensus (at this point) says that Lazar being available at #10 isn't that far fetched. |

Playing for the Oil Kings does not affect his ranking...
http://www.mynhldraft.com/NHL-Mock-Draft/
He's ranked #12 on that list.... If you notice he is a projected Leaf pick which means he is automatically hockey jesus (ie. Luke Schenn & Nazem Kadri). |
