Damn. Fowler, Carlson resignings are absolute STEALS. Both will be 5M/yr dmen in 2-3 years, and both making 3.9M and 4M respectively.
Then you have Lucic and Lehtonen making 6M/yr...
don't mean to spam or anything. i open this up first to the Devils blog, and since there's spots open I figured why not open it to the rest of the HB community lol. 20 team league- full rosters, FW, HIT, BLK included in stats so those that know their depth and show up at the draft will have a good chance.
I would hope after doan and parise falling through that the pens would be in on kane. They have buku d-prospects to offer up. Maybe despres, kennedy, and a first? (kennedy is just some salery going the other way) it would be a start. kane would be the last piece needed to make potentially the most lethal top 6 in the league.

Owners crying poor and handing out contracts extensions that don't need to be extended this year, hard to feel sorry for them... Players on the other hand, i would take it too, so I can not blame them
can't see this lockout going too long. NHL has too much momentum that's been built up over the past few years. they won't risk all that growth. not to mention, i have a hard time believing the Canadian owners are down with this lockout when the CDN dollar is worth more than the USD. i just can't see the owners staying unified. i mean, MLSE, Geoff Molson, Eugene Melnyk, etc., these guys are gonna sit there quietly so that the NHL can continue to float the Phoenix Coyotes, Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators?
