the league wants the players to roll back their salaries which are handed out like candy by the owners out of control gm's. the league wants the players to pay for the gm's careless spending and dancing through loop holes of a CBA the owners created.

The CBA is up... Why wouldn't the owners try to negotiate something that would prevent 60% of the league from losing money? This is a reality of business. The owners are in the right here.

The sad thing is that most owners aren't making money. In fact, 18 teams (60%) actually lost money last season.

People are ignoring the fact that we are talking revenues here, and not net income. The players have little to no expenses that come out of their 57%... The owners have HUGE operational costs that come from their 43%. Most owners lost money last season, and something has to be done!

Most people don't know the difference...I didn't until you mentioned it and I took a semester of Accounting.

The fact is if you want something you make adjustments. Maybe you spend less on dinner, maybe you don't spend as much on other luxury items. Heck maybe you sell one of your three Yashin jerseys. Point being, people aren't gonna not go if the isles move to Brooklyn and are winning. You'll be there with your train ticket in hand and your orange Yashin jersey freshly pressed.

I think X has a problem with Brooklyn.

I have no problem with Brooklyn other then the arena was VERY poorly built, that horseshoe design is f'in stupid & Wang still has his heart set on Nassau. He is VERY stubborn.

Too bad Nassau doesn't want him. As for the second bold, we can only pray that happens.

I like Wang, But lets call a spade a spade... he's may not be the right owner for this team.

With that said if Mikhail Prokhorov the third richest man in Russia, and a big hockey fan.. wanted to buy this team & move them permanently to Brooklyn... umm HELLO!!! id give my left & right nut to get that deal done!
