Schultz and Yakupov did a shoot with NHL13, so I'm sure they're in there... They're most likely on their junior teams right now, and will be added to the rosters once the NHL starts up in 2017

Plus there are 29 other teams in the NHL... Perhaps Edmonton was attempting to get him. If it was a one team league, being a GM would be so much easier.

That being said, I believe you overrate what it takes to be a GM. I'm sure there are numerous people on these boards who are more than capable of being one... Unfortunately, the possibility of average people becoming a GM is slim, because the NHL is an example of the "Good Ole Boy Network"... You have to have connections to get the job.

Schultz played college hockey which they dont have in NHL 13 (I dont think, they didnt have them in 12), my guess is that he is still on Anaheims roster.

Thats the exact kind of guy we needed as a stop gap until some of the prospects were ready. He played well on a solid Phoenix team.
