Im confused, but either way, we are talking about 12 million being used to make the cap floor, when one player was bought out, another player cant stay healthy, and the third is in arbitration to see wether he's actually on the team. So that 40 million is really 28 with my math, as of right now.

Who? I haven't seen it. The guy is a good player as far as players like him go and he is doing a good job at a young age. That's a commodity. Not Gretzky but a commodity none the less. Especially on a club with a bunch of pansies.

I get that he is a team player I get it that he has skills and COULD be better I get all of that but still he is not the best player I have ever seen and he never will be that player. Yeah I know that but truth be known this team unfortuantely have a lot of holes that management refuses to see. Next year it will be goaltending and scoring. Nabby more then likely will not be here by the end of the year. that leaves us with (wait while I puke ) DP. Then you try out Poulin and Nillson and hope one of them is ready. See every year there is a hole with this team. If I am Matt MArtin I am holding out too cause there is a true NHL team out there who will pay me and I wil have a chance at the playoffs
