Reducing concussions is as simple as removing hard plastic shoulder and elbow pads.

If they lock out this season for any period of time I'm not buying tickets for a real long time. Love the sport but with the ammount of time they had to figure this out and waiting till the last minute only screws the fans, I am a fan, and I don't like getting screwed by anyone but my wife.

We can blame and hate Bettman, but the owners need to look in the mirror. They want to roll back salaries again but continue to write crazy long term sickening loads of cash contracts. Look what Philly did to Nashville offering that contract with the huge signing bonus. So to the owners you made this mess again and this time it will bite you in the ass.

Actually when you look at the Cup champs pre-cap, the winners/finalists were mostly teams with lower payrolls...meanwhile the Rangers with their 85 mill payroll of holiks and yagrs missed the playoffs....just sayin
