If that's his weakness, then I'd say there's nothing to worry about. That's the kind of thing that can be learned out of him, it should also fade with age.

Yeah it's just something that I've noticed.

If only the Habs had sucked one year earlier....

We'd have Huberdeau.

It makes you wonder how Shore dropped all the way to 44th in that draft.

With the array of tremendous prospects coming up, and the solid veterans the Panthers already have, it is not hard to see this team going on a cup run like Chicago did when they won.

His skating was bad back then. It's still not great, but it's improved a crapton, to the point people don't see it as a huge weakness.

I'd do it.

I'm sure the Habs at least inquired about this too.

So they have a Toews, Briere, Arnott, Marleau and a Luongo...

we're (frank)ed.

- wolfos412

Not for long, according to many Canucks fans all these prospects (yes all 10) should be trading for Luongo straight up!

Very nice blog I was surpised that you had markstrom as low as you did and had Rocco Grimaldi as number two. I agree he is a monster even thou is he only 5.6 he is going to be a boom or bust for sure...

Four-Way Trade!

To Vancouver: Hoobadoo, Markstrom, Grimaldi, Bjugstad, Morgan Rielly, Jake Gardiner, Alex Gudbranson, Leafs 2013 1st, Florida's 2015 1st, Jonathan Toews

To Toronto: Mason Raymond, ROberto Luongo (41 games)

To Florida: Keith Ballard, Roberto Luongo (41 games)

To Chicago: NOTHING!!

Markstrom -- low mostly because goalies values can (At times) be a bit lower. But really... he's an A+ prospect.

Grimaldi -- I just love that dude. So much potential it's unreal.

The #1 goalie prospect in the league is only the 6th best prospect the Panthers have? They're really that stacked with F/D prospects?

Goalies tend to be valued a bit less because of the unpredictability. He's still an A+ prospect, and yes... they're that stacked with prospects.[/img]

Also a better NHL Comparable for markstrom would be Henrik Lundqvist. No so much Bobby Lu just my thoughts.

The difference being what? Incredible all-star goalies until the age of 32 then 1 stays on course and the other drops slightly because of "Big game losses"

Hmm....I still don't think it's fair. Throw in Kane, Sharp and Hossa to Vancouver and Seabrook and Keith to Florida then it sounds about right.

Based on the Florida fan preferring to compare the Florida prospect to the current Vezina winner. Pfft, stop asking silly questions.

It's a comparable I'm not saying markstrom is going to be as good as Henrik Lundqvist. But I guess on you saying that I guess his comparison being Bobby Lu is fine...

Edit: if you are not trying to troll what I said I take back my statement.
