My wife bought us tickets and I am poopting my pants with excitement. Propagandi also just confirmed as did riverboat gamblers. Also the Flatliners are amazing and Polarbear club and carpenter (from Vancouver) I could go on and on, I swear this is my dream line up.

I would like to see Propagandi. The Flatliners play what seems like quarterly shows in Edmonton and I've seen them like 7 times, I've seen Riverboat Gamblers, and Polar Bear Club and wasn't impressed with either of them. Carpenter is one of my favorite bands, I saw them with Belvedere earlier this summer in Edmonton and they were great.

I have yet to see the Flatliners and PBC but I saw RBG and Carpenter open for (sort of) Pennywise (new singer) and I thought they were the best band of the 3 for sound and stage presence.

Also stoked that Gaslight Anthem and Hotwater Music are coming to Vic in October, too bad they are opening for Rise against. Not a lot of good or decent shows here.

Ebs, Nuge and Hallsy etc are all pretty lame-o. If you're gonna involve their names at least make it sorta zainy like Jordeb or TayLORD. I dunno. I was in an introductory law class last winter and while discussing contracts, the professor used "Nugey's" as an example. Lol, Nugey.

I was wondering the same thing. Eberle and Hall should both be able play though.

Life is good in Oil land, focusing on nicknames rather than how the hell they will make the playoffs anytime soon

It seems to be that simple from what I can tell. But there is a limit on how many players with over a certain amount of pro games played. Hall Ebs and Nuge (age depending) could all go play there, as could Schultz. Or they could go to Europe and make a boat load more $

Edmonton Oilers (Offense: 4, Defense: 4.5, Goalies: 3.5): Ryan Whitney (85), Taylor Hall/Nick Schultz/Jordan Eberle (84)

NHL 13 rating.

Talk about comedy. Not singling you guys out, rather showing how dumb EA is. Take a look at this link http://bleacherreport.com...nkings-for-hit-video-game and see how dumb they rated the other teams as well.

No defense got a 5, so saying Edmoton's D is as good as the rest of the Western Conference as well as their D being better than their offense is comical.

Oh thank you EA Sports for not knowing anything about the game.

Yeah it was a blast. In my youth I had some friends who were in band that came out of our local town that seriously considered signing with Belvederes label. I went to so many Belvedere, Downway, Midpoint and Deville shows through that connection.

I could live without Rise Against being involved in the whole thing. It will be my fourth time seeing Gaslight and first seeing HWM. I've seen Chuck Ragan twice though.

Every topic under the sun that can deal with how the team can get better has been discussed...multiple times.

Why does it bother you that we are not talking about it now? Really. Tell me why you are having issue with the Oil blog talking about nicknames. Is your life that lonely?

Better than talking about finding a winger to play next to Crosby for the billionth time.

As long as you let him go play in the World Juniors!!!

Remember that awesome tournament during the Christmas break where our stars never get to play because most NHL teams are too greedy to let them go, even though they come last place anyway?

Nuge should be there. Couterier too

I hope you are right. I would love to see the sports channels pick up SEL, KHL and AHL if there is a lockout. Follow the players.
