Its tough to say prior to the season, but Carolina definitely got much better... The Caps are a ?... could be very good or mediocre. TB went from good to not so good over the past two seasons, but should be ok.. Florida is a team that other teams will hate to play.. no real standouts, but a hell of a lot of guys who can put up 35-50 points.

The only other division with that kinda ? is the Northwest.

I think Florida will be really good soon. Caps and Bolts put up goals but also let in a lot of them. They just never seem to get it done. ALways say you rely on teh goaltending and id have to give it to the Nord West

WHo do the Flyers hate these days? I always find it funny that it really shows your age when you hear the teams people hate. For me it's always the Leafs and with the Bills always the Dolphins.

We tend to hate everyone, but Rags and Pens are on top. Devils were hated more in the Scott Stevens days.

When Miller is on he is the best in the world. But he seems to let things get in his head sometimes. Either way, I will take my luck with Miller. His best days are in front of him.

I'm more than okay for having Miller as our goalie. My opinion: the only better goalie in the league is Quick. Sure, throw in Schneider, but he hasn't thrown together a full season. I mean, look at other teams. Would you rather have Bryz, Reimer, Dubnyk, Emery, Crawford, etc? We don't have to trade him, our current roster just needs a tune up.

I think Miller plays top 3, top 5 at the very least, when all of the below factors are right....
1. Lindy doesn't ride him 30 games straight. Yeah, I get it Lindy, the backup had a bad game, you got to give him another chance. Miller can't play 70+ games a year. We either need to find a backup that Lindy blindly trusts or someone needs to sit him down and explain to him what a backup is for. If our backup is going to ride the pine and only lose when he plays, we may as well dress John Scott as the backup. At least he'll beat up who ever scores on him.
2. Almost all goalies numbers are a direct reflection of the team in front of them. Sabres fans were spoiled by Hasek. He basically back stopped an AHL tean and still got them in to the playoffs. Those guys only come once ever couple of decades and shouldn't be used as a measuring stick.
3. Score more! Then we'll win. Then it won't be "Millers fault"

I like Miller. When everything aligns, I think he's SOLID. Is he THE BEST EVR? No. But he gets the job done. If you think he's overpriced, I can find you at least one player on every team that probably can fall in to that category.
