For whatever the reason, Gagner has long been the target for Buffalo; For whatever the reason, Edmonton likes Sekera to help bring along 3 Slovak defensive prospects.
Another possibility is that Robin Regher's wife and family weere not happy in Buffalo and would like to go back to Alberta. In such a case, Regher would be willing to take a hometown discount to get a 2 or 3 year extension.
Therefore, the trade scenario could very well be:
Sekera, Regher, Adam and fringe forward (Ellis/McCormick/Gerbe) for Gagner and Eberle.
I know everyone will think this is too much for edmonton to do, but Sekera is rated much more highly by Edmonton than Gagner is by the rest of the league.

Everyone is on glue. Buffalo does not want a small skilled center. They already have Hodgson. They need size and grit and they don't get that from Edmonton.
There are no deals out there. In the world of twitter you'd see the rumour in twitterverse. You don't have to come here. People come here to shoot the diahreah only.
These two teams probably aren't even talking about a trade making all these pages of comments another huge waste of time lol.
Sanity dictates that if Edmonton were willing to move one of RNH or Eberle, which, they aren't, there's teams with better players to do business with than Buffalo.
If those guys were available every other team would be interested. There's much better d men to be had than Sekera or Regehr if RNH or Eberle were on the table.

Eberle isn't a center. No way in hell they trade him and Gagner for that.

and like Ive said a couple times, RNH is the least likely of them all to be dealt. the chances of any of them being dealt are slim to none. Tambi barely has the gumption to make a trade at all. Why on earth does anyone think he would be willing to trade any of his best assets?
Darcy Regier has never traded a player from his team who was signed for more than 1 year, he's been a GM for 15 years, it's not hard to figure out what his plan is. He said this in a press conference and radio interview "I'm looking to move prospects and picks for a top 6 game changing type player"... No team is trading top 6 guy like Eberle or top line center for any of Buffalo's prospects. The only guys he will move are guys in the last year of the deal like Roy(traded), Leopold, Enroth, Regher(but I doubt it since it will make buffalo look bad), Matt Ellis(LOL).
Hey Ek, you wrote about how Nashville couldn't afford weber a couple weeks ago and now you're telling us that they can afford weber AND doan? after stating that doan is looking for a big contract?! your logic is truly flawless my friend.
