well thats where i said 6-7.5. I know you take the highest number but 7.5 would only happen in a offer sheet. And dont forget gagner and eberle are RFA the same year. But who knows what the contracts will look like with the new CBA in place. maybe 7 mill for Hall won't be so far fetch. 3-5 years at 7 Mill? My main point tho is they all will command big contracts and will the 4 of them be worth it or should they trade one to get better on D and in goal?

If the system stays the same, then I wouldn't doubt they get offered sheets in the upper 6 range. I can't remember off the top of my head, but I could see an offer of the highest number that two 1sts, 2nd, and 3rd would get you. If all four (or 5 if schultz works out) get that, It could make for some trouble.

Eberle is not only the best player on the Oilers, he also probably the most clutch player in the entire NHL. If I had to choose 1 guy to have the puck on his stick in the dying minutes of a game, I'd prob pick him. The guy is so clutch its scary. He always scores the GTG, GWG or 1st goal. Its never a non-important goal.

I fear to many of you live in a far away fantasy world if you honestly think we are moving either Grigorenko and especially Girgensons for Gagner ? .

First point. As I've said a couple times in here, it's not a straight across deal. But the fact is, if Gagner is moved a center who can replace him in the future. Based on the context of Eklunds post, the C involved is Gagner. That's how he comes up.

I brought up Grig because he is a guy who the Oil staff really liked around the draft, he was one of three players who took a trip to Edmonton predraft.

Finally, your top C is CoHo, who was outscored by Gagner. Gagner was on the worst team in the league, CoHo was being showcased by the best team(Vancouver) before being moved to Buffalo. Sure you don't want some insurance, or are you guys gonna go with what you got for next season? Even if one of Girgensons or Grigorenko make the team, it's unlikely that they'll make a big impact next season.

Like I said I would NEVER trade either Grigorenko nor Girgensons for Gagner.

Gagner does not impress me the way Grigs and Girgs do, sorry. If I have to wait a year for both that's fine. That's why we drafted them! Not to trade them away for another body in Gagner that will be inferior to both of them when "the bodies hit tha' flo'" .
