Why on earth would Edmonton trade RNH, drafted 1st overall who had an awesome rookie season, for a Russian drafted 12th overall, who had rumors about his age?

Now, this rumor will run wild where oil fans think they r getting Myers, LOL. These teams wont make a trade, let alone a HUGE trade. To be huge OIlers would have to give up one of their only 4 good players and Buff would need to give Myers. Not going to happen. Buffalo doesn't need a 40pt 3rd line Center in #89 and Edmonton doesn't need a Robyn, or Jordan vet dman. I could see the oil wanting Pysyk,sekera, and maybe Enroth but really those Dmen won't help them now and they already have a enroth in Dubby.NO ONE WANTS HORCOFF, so enough with the Horcoff dreams. Buy him out already. I could see Buffalo trying to get Nail so they can pair up the Dynamic linemates, but buffalo WILL NOT trade Myers, who won the Calder over powerhouses Doughty and Stamkos. Myers is that good, he is a future star. Edmonton should try to aquire Stafford though since he always lights the lamp against them. 10-2

Trust me, I'm not saying Buffalo is going to win any awards, but I hate when people come on here saying this city is the worse or that city is the worst based on what they've heard, one visit, or wether they like the team that plays there. I could name at least ten cities worse off than Buffalo, and I think I just drove through three off them.

ANyway, Myers sucks, Gagner sucks, Garth sucks....did I miss anything else? Oh, and Subban rocks, right?

OK this is for all the Buffalo fans. The fact is Eklund says there is a young top 6 Center. On the Edm roster, that gives you Hopkins and Gagner. Hopkins is not going anywhere, so that leaves Gagner. If he's moved, there will be another Center coming back, as there's nobody in the Oilers system that can step in there anytime soon, if ever. If they're looking at moving him, it'll be for a bigger Center, likely in a package deal.

Consider this Sabres fans: maybe a deal like this goes through, with one of Grigorenko or Girgensons going back to Edm. Obviously there's more pieces, likely a Dman to Edm and a winger to Buffalo. At the same time, Buffalo works a deal for Bobby Ryan, sending CoHo the other way; or maybe does something nuts and brings Patty Kane home. Then you've suddenly got a use for Gagner don't ya?

No 40Pt Gagner is Useless. we have enough #2 centers in Coho and Ennis and Grig's, Gagner is worse than all of those guys, he is a bust. Fans in edmonton were running on H.O.P.E. Hall, Omark,Paajarvi, Eberle. two of those guys aren't on the roster. Before that is was Cog's and Gagner are the Best, soon both will b gone. These two teams will not trade their top players so no deal will get done. What a shocker, hockey buzz with another rumor that nothing happens. Its hockey buzz, i hope people don't read this sight for rumors. Its just nice to read your own teams bloggers who are rink side.

Value wise, RNH for Myers is absolutely fair. However, both mean so much to their respective teams that it'll never happen. Myers is the cornerstone of the Sabres, and RNH is the Center that Edm hasn't had since Gretzky, and has awesome chemistry with Eberle.

People need to drop those two names, their not the ones involved.
